NEWBORN  CARING

Part of the After-Birth Series

This 3-hour  class takes an alternative approach to mainstream ideas about newborns.  Learn what your baby can do in its first hours, days, weeks, and months.  Find out what newborns are like – how they sleep, eat, communicate,  function, and develop – from a physiological and neurological perspective.

We will discuss all the products that are available for infant care - what's worth your hard-earned bucks and what to walk on by.

Product samples and demonstrations are included.   Explore options for diapering, cribs, and all that 'gear'.   Discuss hot topics such as circumcision, vaccinations, and sleeping with your baby.   Most important, learn how to make your baby's transition from its 'water-world' to our 'air-world' peaceful and heartfelt.

This class is designed to be taken during pregnancy, before your baby arrives, and will benefit both parents to attend.   Class fee is $45 per couple.

This class is taught by Carrie Kenner or Jennifer McArthur
