BIRTH  DOULA  TRAINING

FEES & LODGING

Deposit:

Deposit is $200, due at time of registration.

Workshop Fee:

$400

Partial work scholarships are available by application; application deadline is April 11, 2008.  Contact Carrie for details.

Payment Policy:

Your deposit is due at the time of registration.  The balance is due two weeks prior to the workshop beginning  (May 9, 2008).   An invoice will be sent to you as a reminder  prior to payment due dates.

Refund Policy:

Please understand that you are making an intentional commitment to me and your self when you register for the Birth Doula Training.  Your deposit is used for your materials and to cover overhead costs, and to reserve your space in the class.  So, if you cancel for any reason, there is NO REFUND of your deposit.  If you cancel 2 weeks or more before the workshop, your Workshop Fee may be refunded in special circumstances.  If you must cancel less than 2 weeks before the workshop, your Deposit and Workshop Fee may be refunded only if your spot can be filled by another participant on a waitlist.  If your spot cannot be filled, the amount of your Deposit and Workshop Fee will be applied to another workshop held by Big Belly Services within the next year, or forfeited.

Cancellation by Big Belly Services Policy:

If fewer than 8 people have registered by April 25, 2008, the workshop may be cancelled and all Deposits and Workshop Fees will be refunded in full.

Lodging:

There are numerous hotels, motels, B&Bs, and condos available in the Juneau area.  Check with the Juneau Convention & Visitors Bureau at  www.traveljuneau.com for lodging options.

If you are interested in sharing a vacation home with 3 other women during the training, please contact Carrie.  There are two properties that would cost between $50-80/night per person and could be a nice alternative for lodging.
