Celebrate
your growing belly and love for your baby with belly art. Include your
partner in a private in-home setting, or involve your friends at a belly
decorating party, or as part of a baby blessing or baby shower.
I can do the decorating, or your partner and friends can do it for you -
there are many ways to share in this creative form of loving expression.
You can choose to have your belly painted with body paints, or
with henna (also known as mendhi). Belly painting is quite
temporary - it is usually removed after photographs are taken or at the
end of the day. Mendhi lasts for a few days to a few weeks so you
can enjoy your decorated belly for a longer period of time.
Fabrics, props and special lighting are used to create stunning
photographs of your decorate body. Photographs of your finished
‘work’ are included with every belly decorating session.
You may provide me with sketches or samples of images you would
like to use, or view my collection of images for inspiration.
Belly Decorating is
$30 per hour and includes all art materials, and six 4" x
6" prints with negatives. Belly Decorating parties are
a great gift - have all your friends chip in for an inexpensive way to
honor your pregnancy!
