Thomas streets, one block east of Broadway Avenue E on Seattle’s Capitol
Hill. I share the space with
Rainy City
Midwifery
& Acupuncture Works! The area has many nearby restaurants and services. Please see below
for parking information as free street parking is often congested and
limited to two hours.
From I-5 Northbound:
Take the Olive
Way exit, Exit #166.
At the top of
the exit, turn slight right (heading east) onto Olive Way and continue
uphill.
Olive Way
becomes E. John Street.
Continue on E.
John Street, cross Broadway at the top of the hill.
Continue one
block, take a left (heading north) onto 10th Avenue E.
From I-5 Southbound:
Take the
E Roanoke St exit, Exit #168A, staying to the left.
At the stop
light, take a left onto E Roanoke St, crossing over I-5.
Continue
straight through the next intersection, merging into the right hand lane.
At the second
light, take a right (heading south) onto 10th Ave E.
Continue on
10th Ave E for about 3 miles. 10th Ave E turns into Broadway E during
this time.
Take a left
onto E Thomas Street (there will be a Washington Mutual Bank on your
right and a Bank of America on your left).
Take the next
right onto 10th Ave E. We are the 3rd house on your left, just
after the parking lot driveway (do not park in this parking lot).
From I-90:
Head west on
I-90.
Take the I-5
northbound exit.
Follow the
directions from I-5 North above.
From SR-520:
Head west on
SR-520.
Take the I-5
southbound exit. Immediately merge to the right lanes.
Follow the
directions from I-5 South above.
Parking:
Free street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods, but it
may take 5-10 minutes of circling around to find a place to park. Please
notice the parking restrictions on the block where you park as they vary
from street to street – some are 2-hour limits round the clock, some are
2-hour limits Monday through Friday only, some are not limited, etc.
There are two pay lots across the street. The
following rates apply:
At the U-Park lot:
0-2 hours $3.00
All day (0-10 hours, every day) $5.00
Evenings (5:00pm – 7:00am, every day) $5.00
At the Diamond lot (just south of the U-Park
lot)
0-2 hours $2.00
2-4 hours $4.00
4-10 hours $6.00
Evenings (after 6:00pm) $3.00
Do not park in the parking lot on the north side of the
building – it is all reserved parking.
Bus service:
There is great bus service to the area.
Broadway is served by buses #7, #9, and #60
E John is served by buses #42 and #8
Nearby E Pine street is served by buses #10 and #11.
